Q Are you a preschool or daycare?
A We are not. Many of our staff have the same qualifications and more so we can mimic that type of environment. We are a developmental program that targets specific skill development, emotional regulation, and reduction in anxiety so that our clients are better able to function in an inclusive environment.
Q Are you a school?
A Yes! We offer an independent private school program out of our Coldbrook location
Q What are your hours of operation?
A Our main hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm but we offer extended hours (7:00 am to 5:30 pm) if needed.
Q Do you close for the summer or March break?
A No! We are open all year round!! We find it is easier to transition students to the following year (whether in our program or heading to public school) by not taking a break.
Q Aren’t you promoting segregation instead of inclusion?
A Not at all! In fact, our program is all about supporting inclusion! We believe that not all children are ready for an inclusive environment at the same time. (Makes sense since we all develop at different rates!). We aim to help develop the skills necessary to be able to not just survive a mainstream setting, but thrive and succeed to the client’s maximum potential!
Q Your programs are expensive, do you offer any kind of funding or subsidy?
A We have done our best to keep the costs passed on to families as low as possible. Unfortunately, the services we provide are expensive. Our hope is that through the generous support of donations, we will be able to lower our costs to you even more. Right now we have a list of generous third-party donors who want to offer bursaries or funding to families to attend our programs! Email us for more information.
